![]() On Flower Boy, Tyler has begun to reach his full potential. With the exception of the latter, all of those very real and very relatable themes make it onto Tyler’s fifth studio album, Flower Boy. There is the more obviously macabre depictions of violence, murder and sexual assault present in his earlier works but there are also the recurring themes of love, loneliness, discontent, isolation, boredom and the lack of a father figure that have permeated every single one of his releases prior to his most recent offering. Tyler, the Creator’s music has always dealt with dark themes.
